Mergulhe na história do popular estilo arquitetônico de meados do século do sul da Flórida, conhecido como Florida House , uma estrutura térrea construída em blocos de concreto com uma grande varanda coberta, sala Florida, janelas com persianas e garagem, que surgiu após a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Além de ser uma imitação de projetos de arquitetos renomados da época, como Igor Polevitzky e Paul Rudolph, o conceito da Florida House foi cuidadosamente nutrido por construtores e incorporadores com o objetivo de atrair os nortistas para o Sunshine State. Junte-se à estudiosa Anna Andrzejewski no sábado, 13 de janeiro enquanto ela revela a história por trás dessa forma arquitetônica predominante. Através de materiais promocionais coloridos e evidências de arquivo, Andrzejewski explorará a magia do marketing que transformou ambas as costas do sul da Flórida em extensas paisagens suburbanas em uma única geração.
