Entre na Nápoles do século XVIII na terça-feira, 22 de outubro , no Museu de Arte Lowe para Napoli Nobilissima: Arte e Música na Itália do Século XVIII . Apresentada como parte da série Lowe Ignite, esta noite dá vida à riqueza artística e cultural de Nápoles sob o domínio dos Bourbon espanhóis. A Dra. Jill Deupi, diretora e curadora-chefe do Lowe's Beaux Arts, oferecerá insights sobre esse período por meio de O Martírio de Santa Catarina , de Giacinto Diano, parte da Coleção Samuel H. Kress do museu. Após a palestra, a IlluminArts apresentará um programa de música de época com a soprano Clara Rottsolk, o cravista Noah Sonderling e o trompetista Lucas Balslov, interpretando obras de compositores como Barbara Strozzi e Alessandro Scarlatti. Uma recepção pública com vinho e aperitivos encerrará a noite.
